Building Tennis Communities is a partnership between two organisations that first worked together over 20 years ago.
In addition to Appeti Tennis and CopriSystems we have a number of independent consultants that are driven to see community activity and are helping us on our mission to promote thriving tennis communities.
Director - CopriSystems
Rafe bought CopriSystems from his father in 2009, having worked his way up fromdriving the forklift after school and labouring on site during the holidays.
His vast knowledge and experience help to keep him at the forefront of the sportsconstruction industry and he is constantly pushing for improvements to be made to thedesign, functionality, longevity and sustainability of his products.
Since being in charge, he has developed the bespoke approach to better suit thespecific needs of clients and he is excited by any opportunity to be innovative andchallenge the team's creativity.
Founder - Appeti Tennis
As a former full time player Eb has been involved in tennis since the age of 11, having been brought up playing in parks Eb has a first hand understanding of fully inclusive community programmes!
As founder of Appeti Tennis Eb has been a tennis centre operator and coach for over 25 years and during that time has enabled 1000's of people to enjoy tennis!
Director - The Land Group
After 20 years in the banking industry, gaining extensive experience in project finance and financial modelling, Andrew made a career shift into the property sector, founding The Land Group in 2001. As a passionate tennis player and advocate, he is committed to incorporating tennis facilities and community sports spaces into developments.
In partnership with Appeti Tennis, he has helped create high-quality tennis facilities that strengthen community connections, encourage healthy lifestyles, and contribute to vibrant places where people want to live, work, and play.
Health and Fitness
With over 20 years of experience in tennis and program design, Faye is a passionate advocate for physical and mental wellbeing through inclusive, sustainable, and impactful initiatives.
Her work focuses on creating accessible, high-quality experiences that empower people of all ages and abilities to embrace movement and build lasting healthy habits.
Business Development Manager - CopriSystems
Sas brings with her over 20 years' experience in marketing and communications, having worked with a broad range of brands and businesses to create effective strategies, develop fresh ideas, implement strong partnerships and activate engaging campaigns.
Sas loves tennis and is a regular at her mum's club, which is a paragon of how the sportcan bring people together.
Horton Strategic
Brian brings over 35 years of experience in housing and development, with a real passion for creating better places for people to live and thrive. As Director of Horton Strategic, he works with all kinds of organisations, public, private and non-profit, offering smart, strategic advice to help build stronger, more connected communities.
He’s involved in a wide range of local initiatives, from being Chair of Kent Housing Group to supporting creative spaces like Turner Contemporary. Brian also serves on boards focused on housing, regeneration and neighbourhood support.
Before launching Horton Strategic, he held senior roles across the sector, including with Kent County Council and Swale Housing Association. Through his consultancy and networks, Brian continues to champion well-designed, inclusive living environments that support people and them to flourish.
Founding Partner, Spurling Cannon Accountants
Jon co-founded Spurling Cannon in 2003, now one of Kent's leading independent firms of Chartered Certified Accountants. With over 20 years' experience, he works with clients ranging from start-ups to multi-million-pound businesses.
Beyond his professional role, Jon is passionate about sport and community. As a long-time supporter of Appeti Tennis, both personally and through Spurling Cannon, who have backed our junior players for over 10 years, he's seen first-hand the impact of local sport. His own son played with Appeti Tennis for many years, giving Jon a real understanding of the challenges young athletes face.
That's why he's proud to support the initiative to create new tennis courts, spaces where people of all ages can stay active, connect and grow together.
