APPETI TENNIS

Founded in 1998 by Eb Appeti, a former full time tennis player, Appeti Tennis has always believed that "Tennis is for Everyone".

Our "Fresh Approach to Tennis" has, to date, provided accessible tennis to over 25,000 children in Kent and Sussex.  We truly believe that tennis is a sport that can be enjoyed by everyone.

In 2002 we worked with CopriSystems on 2 community projects in Canterbury and Hastings.  Once through planning, Canterbury was built in 2004 and opened its doors to the community in January 2005.  The Centre was built in partnership with a state school, The Canterbury Academy, and offers tennis to the pupils of the school and local community.

Since that time we have put together a team of committed tennis professionals. Our commitment to providing a great environment has seen us become a destination centre for tennis in Canterbury and East Kent.

In Hastings Appeti Tennis regenerated an underutilised public park and gained support from the local authority to build indoor courts but, unfortunately, could not gain planning permission.  The centre operated successfully outdoors for 11 years.

Our aim has always been to provide a relaxed but productive environment for people of all ages to enjoy tennis.

Our programmes are varied, our youngest pupils in our 'Tiny Tennis' classes are only 3, our oldest pupils are in their 70s.

We welcome those new to tennis as well as seasoned players and have programmes for all ages and abilities.

We don't believe in compulsory memberships or complicated entry requirements, if you want to get involved simply book a lesson or court and come and play!
