Harty comes to visit the centre.

We had a very special visitor at the centre this week… and he had four paws and a waggy tail! 🐾

Meet Harty, a five-month-old guide dog in training, who popped in with his lovely trainer and regular at the centre, Mary Ellen. As part of his early training, Harty is being introduced to all sorts of different places, people, and experiences—and our lively tennis centre was the perfect spot for some real-world practice!

He took it all in his stride—busy courts, bouncing balls, and lots of new faces. And although those tennis balls must have looked very tempting, Harty showed impressive focus and resisted the urge to chase even one. What a star!

It was a real treat having him visit, and we’re so excited to follow his journey as he grows into his important role. Come back soon, Harty! 💛🐶🎾
