August 2016 - Tunbridge Wells Tournament 2016

With 10 Appeti Tennis players competing at Tunbridge Wells this week, it was a busy week for players, parents and coaches.

Monday was a day packed with matches with 8 first round matches before midday!!

There were some great performances and results throughout the week but in particular Charlie Clements stood out for a great run in the 10U draw! Charlie's coach Tim remarked that "Charlie fought hard for every point and really impressed me with his never give up attitude."

Ashleigh Hannah also had a great tournament - winning 2 matches out of 6 but could have had 4 wins - having match points in two of the other matches. Ashleigh is still early in her competitive experience but already showed an increased confidence in her matchplay.

A busy week came to a satisfying end and everyone is excited about moving onto Eastbourne next week.
