Theo’s Grass Court Triumph: Play Your Way to Wimbledon Kent Finals Champion!

We are absolutely delighted to share that Theo has won the Play Your Way to Wimbledon – Kent Boys County Finals 2025, held at the Walmer Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club.

It was a brilliant day of tennis, with Theo showing exceptional skill, determination, and resilience on the grass courts. Despite the soaring temperatures, he moved superbly, stayed composed, and delivered some fantastic aces along the way.

The competition was fierce. In the semi-final, Theo faced the top seed, battling through a tough match to win 4-0, 0-4 (10-6). That victory set up an exciting and intense final against the second seed. Theo held his nerve, playing with great maturity and focus, and secured the title with a 4-2, 3-4 (10-6) win. A truly outstanding performance!

It was great to see Malcolm Smith, President of Kent LTA, at the event. He  presented the awards and prizes, posed for photos, and chatted with Theo about his tennis journey and what to expect at Wimbledon.

Theo is absolutely over the moon and can’t wait for the next stage—Wimbledon in August!
