Each year the Academy runs it’s own internal Talent Identification Scheme. The programme is offered to juniors who are display the right attributes, commitment, good attitude, enthusiasm and ability to take their tennis to the next level.

The Talent Identification Scheme was launched in 1999 for juniors in East Sussex. Since then juniors from East Sussex and Kent who have been part of the scheme have successfully competed at county and national level.

The Talent Identification Scheme is designed to accelerate each player’s rate of progression through more intensive coaching and increased activity. The Appeti Academy provides a support mechanism for players and pupils to take their tennis to the next level and beyond.

The scholarship is a 4-week programme, which includes individual sessions, practice and fitness.

The Talent Identification Scheme is a great opportunity for juniors to experience a more comprehensive programme. At the end of the scholarship those juniors that are successful will be invited to join our development programme.
