| Essex Open 2007 |

| Some pictures from our week at the Essex Open, once again the tournament was attended by Eb and Faye who spent the week with a party of our older players at a campsite in Brentwood, Grant and Jayne Dudman, Helen and Ric and Julie and Scott Sargeant also joined us at the site for some of the week.
The tournament was a great success with Leigh Sargeant making the boys 15U plate final and Ffion Newberry winning the girls 16U singles and losing in the final of the 18U to the girl she beat in last years final, Sarah Naylor.

Despite some bad weather a great week was had by all, congratulations to all the players who took part and particularly Andres Pesqueira and Ben Roger who made the final of the B draws and Ffion Newberry who won the Girls 18U and was runner up in the Girls 16U. |

| On 18 June 2007 a party of 31 players and parents from the Appeti Tennis Centre visited the International Womens Open in Eastbourne, a great day was had by all, with our juniors meeting, Henin, Mauresmo, Dementieva, Petrova and a host of other stars of the WTA Tour.
