There are many things to consider when designing a fitness programme; age, gender, time, health, injury and external pressures such as studying and social life. All can be grouped together under the heading of lifestyle and it is important to create the right balance of training and good lifestyle. A programme managed by us will be designed to fit each individual player. Each fitness programme will made up of different elements; strength, speed, stamina, suppleness. In addition, co-ordination, movement, rhythm, power plus rest and recovery strategies must be included. An imbalance in any of these areas can lead to a poor performance. Players at The Appeti Academy will be encouraged and educated in the following areas, in order to achieve optimum performance:
Gaining success in sport is a challenging task for everyone involved in a player’s development, but with the right planning every player at The Appeti Academy will have a great chance of reaching their potential. |
