Philosophy
Appeti Tennis is a team of dedicated and enthusiastic tennis professionals, who believe that tennis is a sport for everyone, at any age. The team has been based at Canterbury, Kent for 7 years but have been working together for 11 years, so we have a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Our programmes range from grass roots tennis coaching at local schools, aimed at getting children that have no or little experience playing tennis. We also run a large recreational programme where children can play regularly for fun, make friends and stay healthy in a safe, positive environment. We also accommodate juniors that have aspirations to follow a career in tennis, either as players or coaches, with a full programme of tennis training, fitness and psychology.

Our programmes are run from the Appeti Tennis Centre, which is based at The Canterbury High School.

Appeti Tennis also manage the tennis for the Post 16 Elite Sports Academy at the school. The Sports Academy invites elite performers with the motivation and ability to gain national or international recognition. County, national or international standard tennis players receive a highly specialised coaching, training and advanced technical support. The academic needs of the elite performers are met in the Sixth Form of The Canterbury High School or our partner schools.

The Appeti Tennis Centre is open access, does not ask for a membership or have a clothing policy. Our aim is to create a community based centre for tennis, where kids, adults and families can come to play and socialise together alongside county, national and international players.
